Job summary

CareChoice is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to assist NDIS participants with complex behaviours and mental health needs in Melbourne. You will deliver person-centered care, promote safety, and support participants to reach their goals with a calm, professional approach.

Applicants should have 3+ years’ experience, a Cert III/IV in Individual Support, and current checks (NDIS, WWCC, First Aid/CPR). Join a team focused on inclusive, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability or related field.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid and CPR Training must be current.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to participants with complex behavioural support needs.
• Support daily living, community access and achieving individual goals.
• Follow Behaviour Support Plans and Client Care Plans including safety strategies.
• Respond calmly to behaviours of concern and challenging behaviours.
• Collaborate with the broader care team.
