Job summary

Senami is seeking a Disability Services Coordinator to supervise day-to-day operations in residential and community settings. You will ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with client NDIS plans, promote mental health, well-being, and independence, and lead a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires strong leadership, clinical understanding, and a holistic approach to care planning and risk management within SA. Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Leadership, time management, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with clinical documentation and client record systems (e.g., Careview).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Sound understanding of NDIS legislation, the Mental Health Act (SA).

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, individualized client and clinical support in residential and community settings.
• Conduct mental health and risk assessments and develop person-centered care plans.
• Deliver psychoeducation and therapeutic community activities promoting health and inclusion.
• Maintain updated documentation including care plans and reports.
• Ensure care meets NDIS, Senami, and SA legislative standards.
• Coordinate internal and external referrals and manage crisis interventions.
• Supervise and mentor Team Leaders and Support Workers.
• Conduct training sessions and team supervision with the Registered Nurse.
• Lead day-to-day residential service operations and act as on-call officer.
• Liaise with stakeholders and external services for integrated care.
• Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with standards.
