Job summary

Disability Living Incorporated in Adelaide's eastern and north-eastern suburbs seeks a House Coordinator to lead a SIL home. You will supervise a team of Community Support Workers, ensure high-quality, person-centred outcomes and maintain compliance with NDIA/NDIS requirements.

The role blends administration with hands-on client support shifts, offering leadership development, ongoing training, and a values-driven workplace focused on quality outcomes for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supported Independent Living or disability services.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Sound organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to person-centred practice and human rights principles.
• Willingness to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily operations within the SIL home.
• Providing leadership, guidance and support to Community Support Workers.
• Promoting a positive team culture focused on person-centred support.
• Maintaining accurate documentation, client records and compliance requirements.
• Monitoring and supporting client goals, wellbeing and quality outcomes.
• Liaising with families, guardians, allied health professionals and external stakeholders.
• Assisting with roster coverage and service continuity when required.
• Leading by example through active participation in support shifts.
