Job summary

Department of Education Victoria – Mount Duneed VIC seeks a Leading Teacher Range 3 to lead Disability Inclusion initiatives, curriculum leadership and student support across the school. The role focuses on coordinating staff, implementing high‑impact teaching strategies and fostering an inclusive, safe learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
• Ability to lead planning and implementation of high impact teaching strategies.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data to drive improvement.
• Exemplary interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Commitment to Disability Inclusion and collaboration with families, staff and external agencies.
• Ability to lead Disability Inclusion Profiles (DIPs) and provide adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Lead contact for Disability Inclusion within the school.
• Promote the implementation of all elements of Disability Inclusion at the school.
• Register students who require a profile meeting.
• Coordinate Disability Inclusion profile meetings and gather supporting information.
• Support staff and the SSG to prepare information for profile meetings.
• Liaise with Student Support Services key contact as required.
• Ensure each student with disability has a quality IEP and meets the IEP quality checklist.
• Support transitions and collaboration across services to ensure continuity of support.
