Job summary

Western Sydney University – Campbelltown NSW is offering a part-time (.8FTE) 12-month contract at HEW 8 level to provide specialist advice and inclusive support for students with disability. The role is based at Campbelltown campus with flexible working arrangements and a salary range of $120,754 – $134,051 plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Education, Social Work or a related field.
• Extensive experience supporting and advising a diverse range of clients with disability.
• Knowledge of disability discrimination, education standards, anti-discrimination and privacy legislation.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation and communication skills, including experience presenting to varied audiences.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, build collaborative relationships and use Microsoft 365 and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, proactive and responsive support to students with disability.
• Collaborate with students and staff to develop, monitor and refine academic reasonable adjustment plans.
• Provide specialist advice, advocacy and guidance on accessible facilities, services and learning environments.
• Use service data, performance measures and student feedback to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Build effective referral pathways, maintain accurate records and co-develop educational programs that strengthen accessibility and inclusion.
