Job summary

C&K Waratah Crescent Community Kindergarten in Gladstone, QLD is seeking a Director/Teacher to lead a safe, engaging early learning environment for children, families and our community. You will guide practice with a focus on belonging, growth and safety.

Role starts November 2026 as a fixed-term full-time through end of Term 4 2027, with a wage rate of AUD 43.41–59.87 per hour plus director's allowance and superannuation. School-term holidays and family-friendly benefits apply.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current Police Check.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
