Job summary

The Department of Corrections NT – Brisbane QLD is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Engagement to shape contemporary workforce strategies, attract, recruit, engage and retain people for correctional services across the Northern Territory.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, design strategic initiatives for recruitment, engagement, wellbeing and retention, and partner with senior executives to deliver organisational priorities informed by data and evidence.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience leading strategic workforce functions.
• Ability to provide strategic advice in complex environments.
• Experience partnering with executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team and foster accountability and improvement.
• Design and implement strategic workforce initiatives for talent acquisition, planning, engagement and wellbeing.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment strategies and workforce pipelines.
• Develop partnerships with senior stakeholders to support organisational priorities.
• Analyse workforce data and labour market trends to inform decisions.
• Provide high-level strategic advice and prepare executive-level reports.
