Job summary

The Department of Corrections NT is seeking a proactive Project Officer to support Talent Acquisition and Workforce Engagement initiatives in Darwin. You will oversee project management, research and coordination to enhance employee experience and organisational capability across the department.

As part of a collaborative team, you will coordinate stakeholder engagement, develop briefing materials and contribute to workforce wellbeing initiatives, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience delivering strategic projects in a complex organisation.
• Strong research and analytical skills with ability to translate information into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience producing reports and briefing materials.
• Well-developed organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive approach and initiative to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data and technology.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and delivery of workforce wellbeing, talent acquisition and engagement projects.
• Conduct research, analyse workforce data and identify contemporary approaches to the workforce.
• Prepare high-quality briefings, reports, submissions, correspondence and other project documentation.
• Coordinate meetings, forums and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Assist in developing communication and promotional materials for workforce initiatives.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and contribute to departmental priorities.
