Job summary

City and Environment Directorate in Canberra is seeking a Director, Public Land Use to lead the Public Unleased Land Compliance and Public Unleased Land Investigations teams within the Building, Planning and Land Use Regulation Branch.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership across compliance, investigation and enforcement, overseeing complex regulatory matters, managing resources and risk, and offering authoritative advice to senior executives and decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading regulatory investigations, prosecution activity or public land compliance functions.
• Willingness to undertake site visits and wear PPE where required.
• Excellent communication and leadership in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
