Job summary

ACT Public Service is seeking a Senior Director, Strategy within the Office of Water in Canberra. You will lead policy and planning across water governance, intergovernmental engagement, and national reform initiatives to ensure long‑term water security.

Reporting to the Executive Group Manager, you will drive strategic programs, stakeholder relationships, and cross‑sector partnerships to implement the ACT Water Strategy and related reforms.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex policy programs and reform initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Senior Director, Strategy portfolio within the Office of Water to shape ACT water policy and reform.
• Provide high‑level policy advice to government and represent ACT in national forums and negotiations.
• Foster partnerships across government, industry, community and research sectors to deliver the ACT Water Strategy priorities.
