Job summary

Immanuel Primary School is seeking a Director to lead its Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) and Vacation Care Service. The role is a permanent, full-time position commencing January 2027, aligned with the school’s mission and practices.

You will shape the service from inception, recruit your team, and build policies and systems with strong leadership support from the Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in early childhood education.
• ACECQA approved qualification for working with children over preschool age.
• Current Senior First Aid and Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect training.
• Experience with children aged 5–12.
• Experience leading or supervising a team in children's services.
• Strong knowledge of NQF, NQS, My Time, Our Place and SA child protection obligations.
• Experience OSHC administration (enrolments, attendance, bookings, fees, CCS).
• Experience managing budgets and maintaining records.
• Current SA Working with Children Check.
• Experience establishing or growing a service or leading QIP will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation and long-term development of the OSHC and Vacation Care.
• Develop engaging, inclusive programs aligned with My Time, Our Place.
• Recruit, rostering, supervising, coaching and developing educators and staff.
• Maintain compliance with NQF, NQS and SA requirements.
• Lead the Quality Improvement Plan and self assessment.
• Lead the assessment and rating of the service.
• Ensure effective child safety, supervision, risk management and reporting.
• Manage enrolments, bookings, attendance, family accounts and CCS.
• Build relationships with children, families, staff, regulators and community organisations.
