Job summary

Turner & Townsend invites you to join as Infrastructure Director to lead end-to-end delivery across major sectors including power, transport, renewables, and utilities. You will inspire and grow a high-performing team, build trusted client relationships and drive business development to expand our market presence.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently residing in Australia with full working rights.
  • Professionally qualified in construction, cost management, engineering or project management.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in a similar industry.
  • Sound knowledge of the construction industry.

Job Description

We’re seeking a visionary and inclusive leader to join us as Infrastructure Director. You’ll bring deep expertise in project delivery and a passion for challenging conventional approaches to drive better outcomes for clients and teams.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of projects across major infrastructure sectors, including power & utilities, transport, renewables, and ideally water.
  • Inspire and grow a high-performing team, fostering excellence and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Drive business development and expand our presence in the market.
  • Champion service delivery excellence and contribute to strategic growth.
Qualifications
  • Must be currently residing in Australia with full working rights
  • Professionally qualified in one or more of the following fields: construction, cost management, engineering or project management.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in a similar industry.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the construction industry.
  • Experience with major projects in utilities, power, transport, and/or renewables.
  • Exceptional business development experience with a large network in the South Australia infrastructure market.
  • Experience of working within a client focussed consultancy environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels.
  • Strong time management skills, quick thinking and resilience to deal with a fast-paced environment.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
