AECOM is seeking a Data Centre Architect to join our Urbanism + Planning team. This is a rare opportunity to combine leadership, client engagement and project delivery at scale on Australia’s mission critical Data Centre projects.

You can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Canberra, and will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure design quality, and mentor staff to elevate studio capability. The role offers flexible work arrangements and opportunities to work with a global team delivering

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with 15+ years of experience and current registration.
• Extensive Data Centre sector experience with related design considerations.
• Proven leadership with mentoring and team development.
• Strong organisational skills for complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Strategic mindset to strengthen architectural offering and market position.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership on Data Centre projects and guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee major Data Centre initiatives, ensuring design quality and client satisfaction.
• Partner with sector leads to win major pursuits and deepen client relationships.
• Champion standards by delivering sustainable, innovative solutions and mentoring staff.
• Strengthen business performance through resource allocation, budget and risk management.
