Job summary

SA Health is seeking a Director Aboriginal Health Partners and Engagements to lead partnerships, governance, and community communications to improve health and wellbeing of Aboriginal South Australians, in alignment with national and state policy directions.

The role collaborates with Local Health Networks and attached agencies to shape Aboriginal health proposals, strengthen system engagement, and drive evidence-based outcomes across SA Health.

Qualifications

• Experience in Aboriginal health policy and program delivery.
• Strong governance, engagement and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence across government, health networks and communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead partnerships, governance, engagement and community communications to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal South Australians.
• Support the Chief Aboriginal Health Officer in Aboriginal leadership across SA Health and collaborate with Local Health Networks and attached agencies.
• Shape and strengthen system-wide Aboriginal health proposals and related programs.
• Oversee development and delivery of Aboriginal health engagement and partnerships across SA Health and drive evidence-based outcomes.
