The Direct Buyer at MCC in Adelaide, Australia, will lead direct-material procurement and supplier management to support operations. You will manage supplier performance, negotiate terms, and ensure accurate purchasing data within ERP systems to sustain production schedules.

Collaborating with Sales, Operations, Warehouse and Finance, you will drive cost efficiency, forecast needs, and deliver procurement improvements across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related field.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with purchase orders and ERP processes.
• Analytical, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Procure direct materials and manage supplier relationships to support production.
• Monitor supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Support forecasting, CAPEX projects, and procurement improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, product, and pricing data in ERP.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Finance and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Assist purchasing administration, invoice approvals and procurement reporting.
