Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Direct Buyer in Adelaide to oversee procurement of direct materials and supplier relationships essential for production. You will support forecasting, CAPEX projects, and procurement improvements while maintaining accurate ERP-based data and collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Finance.

Ideal candidates have strong negotiation skills, supplier performance tracking, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong supplier management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with purchase orders, ERP systems, and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Manufacturing or operational procurement experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of direct materials and supplier relationships to support production and business operations.
• Monitor supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Support forecasting, supplier reviews, CAPEX projects, and procurement improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, product, and pricing data within ERP systems.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and suppliers to resolve procurement and supply chain issues.
• Support purchasing administration, invoice approvals, and procurement reporting.
