Job summary

Mini Wonderland Early Learning Centre – Waitara NSW is seeking a Diploma-qualified educator to lead the Toddler Room. You will guide a small team, collaborate with the Centre Director and 2IC, and deliver a high-quality educational program tailored for up to 10 toddlers.

The role requires leadership, EYLF/NQS knowledge, and current First Aid/CPR; full Australian working rights are required. 15% above Award rates are provided through the Worker Retention Payment program.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ACECQA-equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as room leader in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Leadership capability and ability to guide a team.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Valid WWCC and Child Protection training.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

Mini Wonderland Early Learning Centre is an independent long day care centre in Waitara NSW. We have 38 places across three rooms: Nursery, Toddler and Preschool. We are a small, friendly team with management on site and easy to reach. Our centre is part of the Government's Worker Retention Payment program, which means our staff receive 15% above Award rates.

About the role

We're looking for a warm, organised Diploma-qualified educator with Room Leader experience to lead our Toddler Room. The room has no more than 10 toddlers, and you'll work alongside a supportive co-educator. You'll also work closely with our Centre Director and 2IC.

Key responsibilities

• Leading and delivering a high-quality educational program
• Supporting children's development across all domains
• Mentoring and guiding educators within the room
• Contributing to curriculum planning and centre-wide practice
• Ensuring compliance with the NQS and National Regulations

About you
