Early Years Talent is seeking a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator for a not-for-profit community-based sessional kindergarten in Healesville, Victoria. The role is full-time and involves supporting two groups within play-based learning, using documentation to track children's development and program planning.

You will join a stable team with long-standing educators, access on-site First Aid training, and participate in professional development funded by the Council and School Readiness

Job description

We seek an experienced Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join a not-for-profit, community-based sessional kindergarten on a full-time basis.

This is a full-time role across two programs, supporting a play-based approach that is nurturing, engaging and responsive to children's interests and development.

You will work across two groups, supporting experienced teaching teams to deliver a program aligned with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

About you:

You are a Diploma-qualified educator who brings reliability, professionalism and confidence in your communication. You are comfortable using technology to document children's learning and contribute to programming, and you take pride in supporting a calm, engaging learning environment. You are genuinely passionate about early childhood education, work collaboratively as part of a team, and are proactive in contributing ideas and supporting positive outcomes for children.

Requirements:

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
• Minimum two years of experience as an Educator, ideally within a sessional kindergarten setting
• Current Working with Children Check
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Child protection / mandatory reporting and Gecko certification
• Sound understanding of the NQF, VEYLDF and Child Safe Standards
