Job summary

Seaford Kindergarten is seeking an in-session Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant, community-run team. This part-time role focuses on building strong relationships, supporting children through play, and delivering a warm, trauma-informed learning environment.

Hours are approx 23 per week over 4 days, starting Term 1 2027, with Tue and Fri sessions. Qualifications include ACECQA-approved credentials and a minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
• Sound understanding of Child Safe Standards
• Completed Mandatory Reporting Certificate and National Child Safety Certificates (courses 1-4)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Early Childhood Education, preferably sessional kindergarten experience
• Experience working with children from trauma backgrounds

Fine Print

Early Childhood EDUCATOR (Part-Time) approx 23 hours per week over 4 days, beginning Term 1 2027.

In session teaching days: Tuesdays and Fridays 8:15am-4:30pm (session time 8:30am-4pm)

Pay and Conditions: as per VECTEA 2020, or its successor.

Qualifications: ACECQA-approved qualifications, minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Bonus points for dual quals!
