Job summary

anzuk Education is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to support a Pre-Prep program in a small, sessional kindergarten in Camberwell. You will work with an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to help children transition to school through play-based activities, with a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy and school readiness.

The role is fixed-term for Terms 3 and 4, 2026, 2–4 days per week (3 days preferred), Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with salary in accordance with VECTEA.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-equivalent is required.
• Experience in a kindergarten or sessional kindergarten setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of the VEYLDF and school readiness is essential.
• Nurturing, positive and collaborative approach is important.
• Passion for helping children as they prepare for school.

Join a community-focused sessional kindergarten as an Educator supporting a Pre-Prep program with a strong focus on school readiness and learning.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well‑established community-focused sessional kindergarten in Camberwell seeking a passionate Educator to join their specialised Pre-Prep Program.

Working alongside an experienced Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll support children in their transition to school through a play‑based program with a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and school readiness. With a maximum of 22 children in the room, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide individualised support in a calm, welcoming environment.

About the Role

• Support the delivery of a high-quality Pre-Prep program within a sessional kindergarten.
