Job summary

Klub Kallangur OSHC is seeking passionate Educators for casual and part-time roles in a warm, community-focused environment. Join a vibrant OSHC service that prioritises safe, engaging activities and strong staff support.

Applicants should be comfortable with split shifts and building meaningful relationships with school-aged children. Essential qualifications include Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis management, Gecko training, and CHCPRT025.

Qualifications

• Blue Card (Paid Employee) required
• First Aid and CPR certifications required
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis management qualifications
• Gecko Training completed
• CHCPRT025 completed

Responsibilities

• Build warm, positive relationships with children, families and staff
• Support before school, after school and vacation care programs
• Engage children in play, learning and wellbeing experiences
• Maintain active supervision and meet ratio requirements
• Plan and facilitate engaging activities
• Follow behaviour support strategies and trauma-informed approaches
• Model safe, inclusive and respectful practices
• Uphold service policies and procedures, including Child Safe Standards
• Work under guidance of the Assistant Coordinator and Coordinator

Klub Kallangur OSHC, operated by the Kallangur State School P&C, is a vibrant and supportive outside school hours care service committed to providing a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where children feel valued, confident, and connected.

We are currently seeking passionate Educators — including those working towards their qualification— to join our growing team in casual and part-time roles.

About the Role

As an OSHC Educator, you will:

• Build warm, positive relationships with children, families, and staff
• Support the daily running of before school, after school, and vacation care programs
• Engage children in play, learning, and wellbeing experiences
• Maintain active supervision and ensure ratios are met at all times
• Assist in planning, setting up, and facilitating engaging activities
• Follow behaviour support strategies and use trauma-informed approaches
• Model safe, inclusive, and respectful practices
• Uphold service policies and procedures, including Child Safe Standards
• Work collaboratively under the guidance of the Assistant Coordinatorand Coordinator

Qualifications & Requirements

Required before starting:

• Valid Blue Card (Paid Employee)
• First Aid
• CPR
• Asthma Management
• Anaphylaxis Management
• Gecko Training Completed
• CHCPRT025 (Identify children and young people at risk) completed.

Qualifications:

• Certificate III / Diploma in OSHC, Early Childhood, Education, Youth Work, Community Services
• OR currently working towardsa recognised qualification
