KU Wickham is a heritage-listed preschool near Newcastle, seeking a Diploma Qualified ChildCare Educator to join a passionate, supportive team in a bright, community-focused setting for 50 weeks a year. Service serves 3–5-year-olds in a space that blends heritage charm with modern learning environments.

The role is a parental leave cover, 8 hours per day on Thursdays and Fridays with rotating start times until December 2027.

Qualifications

• NSW Working with Children Check required.
• National Child Safety Training Certificate required.
• CHCPRT025 Child Protection training completed and understood.
• First Aid and CPR certificates required.
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates required.
• Knowledge of EYLF and the Education and Care Services National Law/Regulations.

Responsabilités

• Parental leave cover role for 8 hours per day on Thursdays and Fridays with rotating shifts.
• Build strong relationships with children and families within a supportive team.
