Job summary

QuickCare in St Clair, NSW is seeking a Diploma Group Leader in Early Childhood Education. This full-time, on-site role involves leading a group of educators, delivering high-quality programs, and supporting children’s overall development within a nurturing centre.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, have WWCC and First Aid & allergy certifications, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is mandatory.
• WWCC and First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications required.
• Child Protection training (or willingness to obtain before start).
• Sound understanding of EYLF and positive development-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate educational programs for children.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and the team.
• Observe, document, and assess children’s learning per centre policies and EYLF.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement EYLF-aligned curriculum.
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
