Job summary

Mini Masterminds Box Hill is seeking a passionate Diploma Educator to join our 84-place centre on a full-time 4-day pattern. You will plan and deliver play-based learning, support children's wellbeing, and collaborate with families and a dedicated team to maintain high-quality education and care in line with EYLF and NQS standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Available to work Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work 10 hour shifts.
• Current WWCC, First Aid/CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates, and Child Protection training.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS; genuine passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS, and relevant legislation; act as Responsible Person.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives; lead the room in the Lead Educator's absence.
• Open and close the centre; support day-to-day operations.
