Job summary

Mini Masterminds Box Hill is seeking a passionate Diploma Educator to join our 84-place centre. You will deliver play-based learning, support children's development, and partner with families to nurture a safe, inclusive learning environment.

You will lead the room in the absence of the Lead Educator, assist with planning, and ensure EYLF/NQS compliance. Availability Monday–Thursday with 10-hour shifts is preferred; WWCC and First Aid/CPR/Asthma/Anaphylaxis are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Current WWCC and First Aid/CPR/Asthma/Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Ability to work Monday–Thursday and handle 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS, and relevant legislation.
• Act as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead the room in the absence of the Lead Educator.
• Open and close shifts to support day-to-day operations.
