Job summary

Mini Masterminds Box Hill is seeking a passionate Diploma Educator to join our 84-place centre on a full-time four-day week. You will plan and deliver play-based programs that support young children’s development and wellbeing.

You will build strong relationships with families and colleagues, contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment, and step into leadership when the Lead Educator is absent. WWCC and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved) required.
• WWCC and current First Aid/ CPR/ Asthma/ Anaphylaxis certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS; excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Ensure compliance with the NQF, NQS and all relevant legislation.
• Act as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the centre.
• Step into a leadership role when the Room Leader is absent.
• Support children's wellbeing and development through meaningful interactions.
• Manage opening and closing shifts.
