Job summary

Mini Masterminds Box Hill is seeking a passionate Full-Time Diploma Educator to deliver engaging, play-based learning and support each child’s development. You will work with your team to plan programs, observe progress, and nurture relationships with families in a safe, inclusive setting.

You will act as Responsible Person, manage opening and closing shifts, and step into leadership when the Room Leader is absent, ensuring compliance with NQF/NQS and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Available to work Monday-Thursday with 10 hour shifts.
• Current WWCC and First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Current Child Protection training/certificate.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferably 1+ years’ experience in early childhood education.
• Act as Responsible Person and manage opening/closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS, and relevant legislation.
• Act as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the centre.
• Step into a leadership role and run the room in the absence of the Lead Educator.
• Support children's wellbeing, learning, and development through meaningful interactions.
• Manage both opening and closing shifts.
