Job summary

Mini Masterminds Box Hill is seeking a passionate Full-Time Diploma Educator to deliver engaging, play-based learning and support each child’s development. You will work with your team to plan programs, observe progress, and nurture relationships with families in a safe, inclusive setting.

You will act as Responsible Person, manage opening and closing shifts, and step into leadership when the Room Leader is absent, ensuring compliance with NQF/NQS and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Available to work Monday-Thursday with 10 hour shifts.
• Current WWCC and First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Current Child Protection training/certificate.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferably 1+ years’ experience in early childhood education.
• Act as Responsible Person and manage opening/closing shifts.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
• Available to work Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work 10 hour shifts
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Current Child Protection training/certificate
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for early childhood education
• Preferably 1+ years’ experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
• Act as the Responsible Person, ensuring the centre operates safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Take responsibility for opening and closing shifts, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre
• Step into a leadership capacity when the Room Leader is absent, providing guidance and support to the team and ensuring the room continues to operate effectively
