Job summary

Expect A Star in Sydney’s Northern Beaches is seeking a nurturing and experienced Diploma Educator to join a well-established early learning service. The role focuses on a calm, responsive environment where children feel safe to explore, learn and grow.

You will develop inquiry-based curriculum, build trusting relationships with children and families, and work with a qualified team to uphold the service's philosophy while ensuring safe, hygienic learning spaces.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved).
• Working with Children Check.
• Knowledge of EYLF, NQS and contemporary early childhood practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for early learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and reflect on an inquiry-based curriculum that responds to each child's interests, needs and rhythms.
• Build secure and trusting relationships with children.
• Develop positive partnerships with families.
• Work collaboratively with a qualified and experienced educational team.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold the service's philosophy.
• Support children's connections with the wider community through outings and experiences.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic and nurturing learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records and follow policies and procedures.
