Job summary
Ballarat High School in Ballarat is seeking an IT Manager for Digital Technologies and Transformation. You will provide strategic leadership for ICT, oversee cyber security, governance and modern workplace initiatives, and drive migration to Department-managed cloud services in line with policy and the SCL program.
The role requires senior technology leadership, stakeholder engagement and collaboration with teaching staff to enable technology-enabled learning and inclusion.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading ICT transformation programs and cloud migrations.
- Strong cyber security, risk and compliance capabilities in education contexts.
- Experience in ICT service management, governance and performance improvement.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and communicate complex tech to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of technology in teaching, learning, wellbeing and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a multi-year digital transformation roadmap aligning with policy and SCL.
- Lead cyber security, risk, privacy, and compliance initiatives.
- Oversee Modern Workplace and cloud transformation (M365, Intune, devices).
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and manage change initiatives.
- Coordinate ICT service delivery and operations within a school environment.
