Job summary

Seven West Media in Sydney is seeking a Digital Strategy Lead to drive commercial growth across 7NEWS.com.au, 7You and The Nightly, owning revenue opportunities and building smarter, integrated packages.

You'll collaborate with Editorial, Sales, AdTech and Commercial Product teams from pitch to delivery, turning content moments into compelling campaigns that lift campaign value. The role focuses on strategic thinking, client-centric solutions and strong storytelling across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a commercial, sales or partnerships role within digital media, publishing or broadcast.
• Proven experience developing and selling integrated commercial packages across multiple platforms.
• Solid understanding of digital advertising and video monetisation, including AdTech/AdOps.
• A strategic mindset, with experience turning commercial audits into actionable roadmaps.
• Great communication and stakeholder skills across editorial, sales and product teams.
• A creative, ideas-driven problem-solver who can shape content moments into packages clients can't say no to.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow revenue across 7NEWS.com.au, 7You and The Nightly, building a strong pipeline of proactive and client-led campaigns.
• Partner with the 7You editorial team on client briefs, building stronger upsell pathways and adaptable commercial packages - using the editorial calendar to shape propositions around major moments like the Logies and Black Friday.
• Arm sales and partnerships teams with the insights, collateral and pricing tools they need to win business.
• Develop a commercial proposition for on-platform video, tapping into 300% year-on-year view growth, and work with AdTech and AdOps to improve yield and packaging of video inventory.
• Lead a commercial audit of our platforms, shaping a prioritised roadmap and sharper value proposition, and support campaign delivery and reporting to drive repeat business.
