Job summary

Delivery Centric is seeking a Digital Solutions Architect for Front End Development in Sydney. You will lead the front-end architecture for enterprise digital experiences, design scalable modular applications using Node.js, JavaScript, Angular/React, HTML5 and CSS3, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

You’ll mentor teams, drive code quality, performance, security, and governance, while collaborating with API, data and core platform teams to deliver near real-time

Qualifications

• 10–15 years enterprise IT experience with solution architecture/technical leadership.
• Hands-on in Node.js and front-end tech (JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular/React).
• Strong experience with HTML5/CSS3 and modern UI patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and solution architecture for enterprise digital experiences.
• Define reusable UI components and modular patterns across journeys.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with API-driven systems.
• Collaborate with Integration, Core Platform and Data teams on APIs and real-time experiences.
• Provide technical leadership across design, code quality, performance, security and governance.
• Design for RBAC, auditability, accessibility, and multi-geography requirements.
• Drive testing, performance optimization and CI/CD.
• Mentor development teams while contributing to architecture and solution design.

• Design scalable, modular applications using Node.js, JavaScript, Angular/React, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Define reusable UI components, patterns and architecture across operational journeys.
• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Integration, Core Platform and Data teams on API-driven and near real-time experiences.
• Provide technical leadership across solution design, code quality, performance, security and governance.
• Design for role-based access, auditability, accessibility and multi-geography requirements.
• Drive technical quality including testing, performance optimisation and CI/CD.
• Mentor development teams while remaining hands‑on with architecture and solution design.

What we're looking for:

• 10–15 years' enterprise IT experience, including significant solution architecture / technical leadership.
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
• Node.js
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Angular or React
• HTML5 / CSS3
• Strong front‑end and solution architecture experience.
• Experience with reusable components and modular / micro‑frontend patterns.
• Strong REST API and microservices integration experience.
• Understanding of performance, accessibility and secure UI design.
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills.

Desirable:

• Neutrinos platform experience – highly desirable.
• Experience with workflow‑based / digital experience COTS platforms.
• Basic BPM / workflow knowledge.
• RabbitMQ / AMQP messaging experience.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and stateless APIs.
• Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes.
• CI/CD, automated testing and enterprise release management.
• Experience with role‑based access and operational dashboards.
• Insurance, assistance or service operations experience.
• Agile / SAFe / POD‑based delivery experience.
