Job summary

Kwik Kopy William Street in Melbourne CBD is seeking a Digital Print & Production Coordinator on a permanent full-time basis. The role combines hands-on digital printing and finishing with production coordination, purchasing and dispatch.

You will manage customer orders from quotation to delivery, working independently and with the team in a busy, fast-paced environment with diverse production stages.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital printing and production coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Ricoh and HP equipment is preferred, not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and reliable Digital Print & Production Coordinator to join our established team in the Melbourne CBD.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining digital printing and finishing with production coordination, purchasing and dispatch. You will help manage customer orders from quotation acceptance through file preparation, printing and finishing to final dispatch and delivery, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and to agreed deadlines.

You will enjoy working independently, collaborating with colleagues and managing multiple jobs at different stages of production in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production workflows to keep customer orders progressing efficiently and meeting deadlines.
• Prepare and check files for digital printing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with job specifications.
• Operate digital printing equipment and assist with print finishing and production activities.
• Coordinate purchasing, materials and stock requirements.
• Organise dispatch and delivery of completed orders.
• Maintain high production standards, with close attention to detail and quality.
• Work collaboratively with the team to resolve production issues and deliver excellent customer outcomes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with practical printing and production experience, including:

• The ability to produce high-quality work to customer specifications.
• Experience managing deadlines and competing production priorities.
• Digital printing experience, ideally with Ricoh C7200X or C7500X series presses.
• Experience with large-format printing, preferably HP Latex printers.
• Familiarity with digital finishing equipment such as laminators, cutters, booklet makers and comb or wire binding equipment.
• Experience with the specified Ricoh and HP equipment is preferred, but not essential. A strong printing background, willingness to learn and a practical, can-do attitude are equally important.
