Job summary

Sutherland Shire Council is seeking a Web Application Specialist to administer and enhance its Digital Experience Platform, intranet and related digital applications. You will ensure security, accessibility and performance while delivering practical digital solutions for staff and the community.

The role requires strong technical skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, experience with Squiz DXP or SharePoint, and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement across council services.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and administering enterprise IT or information management systems.
• Experience with Digital Experience Platforms, Content Management Systems or intranet solutions such as Squiz DXP or SharePoint.
• Experience supporting web applications, online forms, booking systems and integrated business applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance Council's digital platforms including website and intranet.
• Ensure digital systems are secure, accessible and high‑performing; provide technical support.
• Manage vendor relationships and service arrangements; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative digital solutions for staff and community.
• Support and optimise Council's digital ecosystem including internal collaboration platforms.
