The Technical and Contracts Specialist will oversee the management of contracts supporting the construction and maintenance teams in the Civil Works and Presentation business unit. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations, safety standards, and performance expectations while promoting a culture of continual improvement.
Key responsibilities include managing contractor documentation, compliance, performance, and risk throughout the contract lifecycle. You will coordinate audits, performance reviews, and address non-compliance issues, while also collaborating with internal teams to drive improvements and manage risks effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in contract management within local government, demonstrating extensive experience in project management and operational oversight.
We are looking for a candidate who excels in organisational and time management skills, possesses emotional intelligence, and can approach and resolve disputes constructively. Desirable qualifications include experience in procurement, safety, and project management, as well as familiarity with general conditions of contract.
