Job summary

The University of Sydney invites applications for a Project Officer, Digital Communications at the Charles Perkins Centre, Camperdown. This fixed-term full-time role aims to transform the Centre's digital presence through audience-focused communications.

You will collaborate with the Communications Manager and key stakeholders to develop content, uplift digital strategy, monitor analytics, and drive innovative opportunities across social media, web, and video.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience.
• Experience producing engaging digital and social media content for diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of digital communications, social media trends and audience engagement strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using content management systems, digital platforms and analytics tools.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Experience within a large organisation or research setting is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging content across digital, social media, website and video channels.
• Support the review and implementation of the Centre's digital and social media strategy.
• Coordinate and maintain website and intranet content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Produce high-quality communications for internal and external audiences across multiple platforms.
• Monitor analytics, audience engagement and content performance to inform continuous improvement.
• Identify emerging trends and technologies to enhance digital engagement and reach.
