Job summary

University of Sydney is seeking a Project Officer to coordinate projects and events for the Sydney Future Students team. The role involves planning, stakeholder engagement, and supporting recruitment activities for under-represented cohorts.

Working with the Events Manager and cross-functional teams, you will deliver on-campus and off-site engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with university strategy and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating events and engagement activities, with the ability to tailor to audiences.
• Demonstrated organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle, documentation, standards and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and delivery of on-campus and off-site engagement initiatives and events.
• Provide project coordination and operational support across two teams.
• Support recruitment activities for under-represented cohorts, including low SES, rural/remote, and Indigenous students.
• Report to the Events Manager and collaborate with Outreach teams to ensure timely, effective delivery.
