Qualifications

• Experience leading strategy and complex delivery within institutional banking or payments.
• Strong knowledge of digital assets, tokenisation, stablecoins and distributed ledger tech in regulated settings.
• Ability to translate strategy into platform direction, investment cases and executable roadmaps.
• Proven ability to partner with technology, risk, legal and compliance to deliver compliant initiatives.
• Executive presence to influence decisions and simplify complexity in ambiguity.
• Set and manage service outcomes including availability, latency, throughput and data quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture and operations on feasibility and delivery.
• Own operational readiness, service health and incident learning.

Responsibilities

• Define platform strategy and translate it into clear roadmaps and initiatives.
• Lead a portfolio from concept through scaled delivery with governance and investment discipline.
• Engage senior leaders and external partners to deliver through a reusable platform.
• Partner with technology, risk, legal and compliance to ensure compliance by design.
• Represent Westpac externally with industry partners and regulators.
