Job summary

BUMA Australia is seeking experienced Excavator Operators for the Blackwater project in Central Queensland. The role is permanent, full-time on a 7/7 roster with day-night rotation, operating large excavators such as CAT 6060 or similar, and contributing to pre-strip operations.

You must hold a valid ST11, preferably a Coal Board Medical within five years, and provide transcripts showing excavator experience.

Qualifications

• Proof of experience on 300T–800T excavators.
• Valid ST11.
• Coal Board Medical dated within last 5 years (preferred).
• Transcripts showing proven excavator experience.
• Identify and promote safe work practices.

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join our Blackwater team in a permanent, full-time capacity on a 7/7 roster, day-night rotation. Our fleet at Blackwater comprises of a combination of Komatsu 930-E and Caterpillar 789C haul trucks with Hitachi EX8000, Caterpillar 6060 and Hitachi EX3600 excavators.

Key Requirements:

• Valid ST11
• Coal Board Medical dated within the last 5 years (preferred)
• Transcripts demonstrating proven experience on one or more of the excavators listed
• Identify and promote safe work practice, ensuring appropriate precautions are taken to reduce risk to both people, equipment and the environment.
