Job summary

Pentarch Group is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Eden mill Maintenance Team in NSW. This permanent, full-time role focuses on diesel mechanical maintenance of production equipment, with duties including breakdown diagnostics, preventative work, and fast response to faults to minimise downtime.

Candidate must hold a Trade Certificate, a current driver’s licence, and demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Qualified Trade Certificate in a related area is essential.
• Current and valid motor vehicle driver’s licence.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Adherence to Safe Operating Procedures and risk management techniques.
• Ensure all work is performed to compliance standards.
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork.
• Experience in related industry is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Diesel mechanical maintenance and servicing of production equipment.
• Breakdown diagnostics and repair of mobile plant and associated equipment.
• Preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Assist with maintenance of heavy and light mobile plant and processing equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and call outs to maintain production continuity.
