Job summary

Pentarch Group is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Eden mill Maintenance Team in NSW. This permanent, full-time role focuses on diesel mechanical maintenance of production equipment, with duties including breakdown diagnostics, preventative work, and fast response to faults to minimise downtime.

Candidate must hold a Trade Certificate, a current driver’s licence, and demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and safety awareness.

Qualifications

Qualified Trade Certificate in a related area is essential.
Current and valid motor vehicle driver’s licence.
Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Adherence to Safe Operating Procedures and risk management techniques.
Ensure all work is performed to compliance standards.
Strong focus on safety and teamwork.
Experience in related industry is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Diesel mechanical maintenance and servicing of production equipment.
Breakdown diagnostics and repair of mobile plant and associated equipment.
Preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
Assist with maintenance of heavy and light mobile plant and processing equipment.
Respond to breakdowns and call outs to maintain production continuity.
