Job summary

JBS Prime City Feedlot is seeking a motivated technician to join the maintenance team. You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose faults across feedlot plant and vehicles, and repair mechanical equipment including engine assemblies.

The role requires a Mechanical Trade Qualification and proven fault-finding ability, with the capacity to work both in a team and independently to meet deadlines.

• Mechanical Trade Qualification and relevant previous experience required.
• Effective fault finding and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Ability to meet deadlines is important.
• Strong work ethic and reliability with flexible team/independent work.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance activities.
• Diagnose, test and review mechanical faults on feedlot plant, vehicles and equipment.
• Repair faulty mechanical equipment including dismantling and engine assemblies.
• Utilise equipment to perform maintenance and repairs efficiently.
• Provide recommendations for ongoing improvement of equipment and machinery.
• Maintain compliance with JBS Australia policies (WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental).

About the Role

The JBS Prime City Feedlot is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced self-starter to join our dedicated team

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Daily, weekly and monthly scheduled maintenance activities
• Diagnosing, testing and review of mechanical faults on various feedlot plant, vehicles and equipment
• Repairs of faulty mechanical equipment including dismantling and engine assemblies
• Utilising equipment competently to perform maintenance and repairs
• Provide recommendations to ongoing improvement of equipment and machinery
• Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental obligations

About You

• Mechanical Trade Qualification and relevant previous experience is required
