Job summary

MCA Engineering in Parkes NSW is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a full-time role focused on maintenance, servicing, repair and fault finding of mining equipment and fleet assets at our Parkes workshop.

You will diagnose faults, perform breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance, helping keep equipment safe, reliable and available to meet project requirements. Immediate start, day shift, and Monday–Friday roster.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience.
• Current White Card and driver's licence.
• Ability to pass a medical, including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair diesel equipment and fleet assets.
• Carry out breakdown repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on mining equipment.
• Complete scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Minimise downtime by coordinating with site teams.

About the Role
