Haynes People in Toowoomba is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join a leading heavy equipment team. You will diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of heavy mobile plant, trucks and Caterpillar equipment in a modern workshop.

This hands-on role offers a stable, long-term opportunity with weekly pay, penalties, and strong safety culture. Applicants should hold an Australian trade qualification in Diesel Fitting, a current licence, and the ability to work both independently and as part

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Trade Qualification in Diesel Fitting or equivalent.
• Experience on heavy earthmoving, mining or construction equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current HR Licence and Forklift licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

Haynes is currently recruiting experienced Diesel Fitters to join our clients dynamic team in Toowoomba. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics of a wide range of heavy equipment and machinery, trucks and other mobile plant equipment.

About the Role
