We’re looking for experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team in Alice Springs to support our award established team in the workshop.

This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role based out of our branch in Alice Springs.

What you’ll be doing

As a Diesel Fitter at Hastings Deering, you will:

• Deliver quality service – carry out maintenance and repairs to the highest standard, ensuring our customers’ equipment performs at its best.
• Follow the right procedures – research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specifications.
• Do it once, do it right – take every step to ensure workmanship is fault‑free ensuring quality in the finished product and any rework is avoided.
• Work to schedule – complete assigned tasks within required timeframes while maintaining safety and quality.
• Safety first, ALWAYS! Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives
