Job summary

Queensland Civil Solutions in North Lakes QLD is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain our fleet of heavy plant, primarily piling rigs. The role involves work at our Beenleigh/Brisbane yard with travel to sites as required.

Ideal candidates will have trade qualifications as fitters, strong workshop and field maintenance experience, and proven ability to manage maintenance records and schedules. Valid licenses including forklift and plant machinery are essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced trade qualified fitter
• Experience in workshop and field maintenance including scheduling
• Experience with heavy plant and machinery including specialist tooling
• Decisive with ability to advise and influence others
• Experience liaising with maintenance suppliers and sub-contractors
• Stock and inventory management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• IT competence – Microsoft Office and basic maintenance programs
• Proactive and adaptable to project requirements
• Active focus on HSEQ
• Valid drivers license and forklift, plant and machinery licenses and relevant tickets

The successful candidate would perform our diesel mechanic work based in Beenleigh Brisbane but also traveling to sites when required.

About the role

Your key responsibility is the
