Job summary

Core Talent Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter for field service across a range of mobile plant equipment in the Caboolture region. You will handle servicing, maintenance and breakdowns, with some workshop duties as required.

The role emphasises hydraulic/electrical systems knowledge and diesel engine expertise, with potential for an HR license if not already held. An attractive hourly rate and OT are on offer, plus a company car.

Qualifications

• Diesel fitter trade qualification required.
• 3 years post-trade experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electric over hydraulic systems.
• Experience with diesel motors.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• HR license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance and breakdowns on mobile plant equipment.
• Field service with occasional workshop-based tasks.
• Service accessories, hydraulic systems and diesel motors on excavators, loaders, graders, dozers and trucks.

Company

Your new company is a well-respected earthmoving and wet and dry hire company with decades of successful experience in the Brisbane market. Due to continued growth and increasing demand for their services they are needing an experienced diesel fitters for their field service team.

Role

In your role as the diesel fitter, you will be responsible for all servicing, maintenance and breakdown requirements across a wide variety of mobile plant equipment. Work will primairly be field service work with ad hoc workshop based work and this will including servicing all accessories, hydraulic systems, diesel motors etc on excavators, loaders, graders, dozers, trucks etc.

Requirements

• Relevant trade qualifications as a diesel fitter
• 3 years post trade experience
• Good knowledge of hydraulic and electric over hydraulic systems
• Excellent knowledge of diesel motors
• Excellent diagnotic and fault finding ability
• HR license or willingness to obtain one
