Job summary

Aurenne is seeking an experienced Exploration Drill Fitter to join our maintenance team on a permanent full-time basis at our Western Australia site. You will service and repair a fleet of exploration drill rigs, travel to nearby sites, and help maintain high reliability and safety across operations.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate - Engineering Mechanical Fitting or HD Mechanics.
• Current Australian manual drivers' licence (HR Licence preferred).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role working on drill rigs within the mining or a related industry.
• Own tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely.
• Current national police clearance.

About the role

Working from our mobile maintenance workshop, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting our fleet of exploration drill rigs, ensuring maximum reliability and uptime. You'll also travel to nearby drill sites, all within approximately 30km, to complete inspections, diagnostics and breakdown repairs. Our rigs fleet includes UDR1000, Hydco 350, Austex 350, Hanjin and two Schramm 685.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
