Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Medical Radiation Practitioner to perform radiographic examinations across general, theatre, and mobile settings. The role requires active NSW EPA Radiation Licence and AHPRA registration, with a rotating 24/7 roster and on-call duties.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage workload to support high patient throughput while adhering to WHS and radiation safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent.
• Must hold NSW EPA Radiation Licence to operate radiation apparatus and registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA.
• Experience performing radiographic examinations across general, theatre, and mobiles.
• Willingness to rotate 24/7 roster and be on call as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with experience using health-related computer applications.
