Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is seeking a Radiographer Level 2 for permanent positions. The role requires performing diagnostic imaging under radiologists and department managers, ensuring safety and high-quality patient care.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team with a 24/7 rotating roster, delivering imaging services for ED, inpatients and outpatients, and maintaining competency through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent.
• Hold NSW EPA Radiation Licence to operate radiation apparatus and MR Practitioner registration with AHPRA.
• Experience performing radiographic examinations across general, theatre and mobile settings.
• Willingness to rotate through a 24/7 roster and be on call as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with health IT familiarity.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with good workload management.
• Knowledge of WHS and radiation protection practices.
• Proven accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical imaging procedures and ensure accurate archiving of diagnostic images.
• Maintain patient safety and high quality patient care.
• Work within a 24/7 rotating roster and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
